I have been lax in my blogging but I am so stressed with the crazy world of radio jobs or lack there of ...that I seem to be turning a bit lazy it seems .....it will be a year in November since the departure from the station here..... a friend of ours told us their tower got struck by lightening ...sorry but I could not help but think ...."GOOD"........thats what Karma gives you when you destroy so many peoples lives.

BUT that is NOT what this entry is about .. ITS ABOUT BLOB!!! GOO !!! SLIME!!

yes SLIMEY SLIME SLIME Y'ALL !!!!

ON rainy days it sometimes can get hairy at my house...... "BUT I AM BORED!!!!" " I DON'T WANT TO PLAY" whiney whiney....


I love discovering such fun and sharing it is even more fun!! this is a great recipy and super for girls and boys of ALL ages :)

with all the cute little airtight containers you can find now a days at walmart or Target its an awesome home made gift OR party favor !

How to make (Slime)

To make simply mix equal parts of liquid starch and glue together.



We placed 1/4 cup liquid starch into a sandwich bag and added about 3 drops of green food coloring.




Next add in 1/4 cup glue




Mix well. It will start to form a solid blob. There might be a bit of liquid that will not mix in, just remove the blob of slime and discard the bag with the extra liquid.



Take it out of the bag and have fun!

somedays ..........you know the ones...those days where you can't seem to find motivation you struggle to cook or clean or walk OR breath ......I found that if I ask my 6 year old some questions about what she thinks about stuff I generally get a good laugh as well as a desire to get back on the big horse and try harder :)

well today is a hard day talked to mom yesterday and some nice people have gone from this world last week, so funerals were a part of moms schedule last thur and fri.

along with making a caserole for her friend who lost her husband and then yesterday I saw that one of my school mates had lost his mom .
you get homesick a bit you have a heavy heart knowing we are all so simiular we are all in this together and will have to be a strong bond as we see wonderful people leave us and go on .

I finished a couple of sewing projects today and I feel good about doing so.

izabel wants to make her Dolly some new diapers and pants and wants to cut out and color her paper dolls I got her.... so I think I will put other chores on hold for now and we can sew a little bit more sunshine into our day .

AirportVISIT

visiting family is always fun, especially when you live so far apart as we do.
so this month was such a memorable one for us.

my mom and stepdad came to visit from New England for a week and WHAT a fun exciting and heartwarming week it was. the departure is hard on the heart and soul.

they get longer and sadder and I wish I could go home and visit more often than I have had the chance to.

then a pleasent surprise mini visit happened this weekend, Davin's cousins from Oklahoma city had gone on a week long mission trip with the Youth ministry they belong to ...TO ALASKA , amazing journey for them.

they came through the Denver airport and were laid over for 4 hours so we all hopped in the truck and off to the airport we went to spend a little time with good folks we hadn't seen in a while. how fun and exciting to visit at a not common place
the kids love the airport and thought it was quite an adventure.

all and all a great month so far, next weekend is our 12th Anniversary ....YIKES!

can't wait to have a date withthe hubbyman

I want to go see teh New HARRY POTTER , But the rest of the date is all a secret :) can't wait to see what hubbyman has up his sleeve.
